Big Bash League: Scorchers snare England pace ace
Perth Scorchers have added some serious pace to their side for the Big Bash campaign after landing England fast bowler Tymal Mills.
The Scorchers are priced at 11/8 to win BBL11 and the addition of the lightening-quick Mills, who can touch 150km/h should boost their chances of going all the way.
The Scorchers needed to make a top-quality oversees addition after losing star bowler Jhye Richardson to the Australian Test side while Englishman Brydon Carse was ruled out with a serious knee injury.
The capture of Mills is a statement of intent for BBL11 and coach Adam Voges is delighted to have got the pace bowler on board.

"We're really excited about getting Tymal in after Brydon's unfortunate injury," Voges told the club website.
"To be able to get someone of the calibre of Tymal - we saw the impact he had for England over in the World Cup and his last 12-24 months have been outstanding.
"He's a world-class performer, and he'll obviously be really important for us at the back end of the innings."
Mills was a part of England's T20 World Cup side and took seven wickets during the five games he played before picking up a thigh strain.
He is now approaching full fitness and is excited to be a part of the Scorchers squad.
"When they got in touch, I was extremely keen," Mills added. "They're a great franchise with some great players.
"It's exciting to get the opportunity to play in big competitions, and when you join a new franchise, it's a great chance to meet new people and get in with a great group of guys."
