FL1T replaces SANJI at Virtus.pro
With the major just days away, Virtus.pro have made a surprise roster change ahead of Stockholm.
Virtus.pro has announced the signing of Evgeny "FL1T" Lebedev, with the 20-year-old being added to the roster just days before the start of the PGL Major Stockholm.
He will replace Sanjar "SANJI" Kuliev, whose tenure had long been rumoured to be coming to a close.

The roster change means that Virtus.pro drops below Entropiq in the seeding for the PGL Stockholm Major. As a result, they have swapped opening matches, with Entropiq now facing BIG and Virtus.pro taking on paiN, a fixture they are 2/7 to win, with their rivals 5/2.
In a statement on their website, CEO Sergey Glamazda said: "We want to achieve the best possible result, and in order to do so the team needs a new impulse. An opportunity to play with Evgeny arose and we decided to seize it."
No decisions on future
This roster change is not a permanent one, however, with Glamzda continuing to say: "No decisions regarding the future of our roster have been made for now. Everything will be clear after the Major when the dust is settled."
The move ends SANJI's active roster tenure after two and a half years. He's often described as selfless, routinely sacrificing himself for the benefit of the team. Recent results have been poor, however, averaging just 0.91 in the last three months.
FL1T has spent the vast majority of his career with forZe, developing into a solid rifler for the Russian outfit. He was benched by forZe on Monday after averaging 1.18 in 2021. He will debut for Virtus.pro on Tuesday, when they begin their major run against paiN.
